On October 10, the 15th China International Battery Industry Expo opened in Shenzhen, bringing together more than one hundred companies from the power, energy storage, consumer battery sectors and their upstream–downstream supply chains to showcase their latest products and technologies. TONEXUS’s holding subsidiary Hefei Haosheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Haosheng New Energy) was invited to participate in the exhibition, presenting four high-performance sodium-ion products: sodium iron pyrophosphate cathode material, sodium-supplement coated sodium iron pyrophosphate, soft-pack sodium-ion batteries made with in-house cathode materials, and short-blade prismatic sodium-ion batteries.

Among them, the sodium-supplement coated sodium iron pyrophosphate achieved industry-leading performance indicators: a specific capacity of 110 mAh/g and a compacted density of 2.2 g/cm³. When applied to full sodium-ion cells, it enables an initial coulombic efficiency above 95%, far exceeding the industry’s typical level of around 80%. The short-blade prismatic cell built with Haosheng’s self-developed cathode material demonstrated an ultra-long cycle life of 10,000 cycles, with 80% capacity retention, meeting the demanding requirements of long-life energy-storage applications.
Haosheng’s cathode materials and cells—featuring high energy density, high initial efficiency, high safety, and long cycle life—align closely with market needs and became a focal point of attention at the event. Throughout the exhibition, the Haosheng New Energy booth attracted numerous customers and partners for discussions. Multiple battery cell manufacturers expressed strong interest in Haosheng’s sodium-ion cathode materials and battery products, along with clear intentions for cooperation.
On October 11, at the 2025 China International Battery Application Conference, held concurrently with the Expo, Haosheng New Energy’s Technical Director Ma Qianru delivered a keynote speech titled “Development and Application of Polyanionic Cathode Materials and Sodium Supplement Agents,” providing a comprehensive overview of the company’s technological breakthroughs and application achievements in sodium-ion materials. The presentation received high recognition from attending experts.
With strong R&D capabilities, rapid product iteration, and forward-looking technological planning, Haosheng New Energy has established a significant competitive edge in the sodium-ion field.
