Against the global backdrop of actively addressing climate change, Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies—seen as a key pathway toward deep emission reductions—are receiving increasing attention. As countries advance their carbon-neutrality goals, the CCUS industry is experiencing unprecedented development opportunities. Riding this momentum, TONEXUS has achieved a series of remarkable breakthroughs and progress in its CCUS business since 2025.

I. Technological Breakthroughs
In terms of new technology R&D, the company has further developed a two-phase absorbent with strong engineering application potential. This technology overcomes many challenges in large-scale CCUS deployment, such as slow phase-separation rates and stringent separation conditions, removing key barriers to widespread application.
At the same time, focusing on future diversified market needs, the company is actively developing a new adsorption-based carbon-capture process. This technology is expected to become a strong complement to absorption-based solutions, especially for projects requiring high equipment flexibility and skid-mounted application scenarios. It further enriches the company’s product portfolio in the CCUS field and enhances overall market competitiveness.
II. Ecosystem Building
Since 2025, TONEXUS has been actively building communication platforms, inviting leading enterprises and research institutions from sectors such as power, oil and petrochemicals—including Wison Engineering, China Energy New Energy Institute, Taizhou Power Plant, Huaneng Clean Energy Institute, Shaanxi Construction Installation Design Institute, Longking Environmental and more than ten other organizations—to conduct technical research and on-site evaluations of the company’s carbon-capture absorbents. TONEXUS’s independently developed absorbents have won high recognition from potential downstream users for their outstanding performance.
In terms of cooperation expansion, the company has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Wison Engineering, MCC JFEN and other organizations. All parties will integrate resources to carry out in-depth cooperation in carbon-capture engineering technology development and related domestic and international businesses. Multiple projects, both in China and overseas, are currently being promoted simultaneously, laying a solid foundation for the company’s expansion in the domestic and global CCUS markets.
III. Patents and Standards Development
The company has also made substantial achievements in patents and standards formulation. TONEXUS has obtained a new CCUS core-process patent in South Africa—“Wet Carbon Capture Process Coupling Water Balance Control with Utilization of Internal Heat of System.” In addition, the invention patent for a CO₂ capture device titled “A Wet Decarbonization Technology Regeneration-Gas Heat Recovery Process System” has received an authorization notice. These patent achievements further strengthen the company’s leading position in the CCUS field.
The company also participated in drafting the group standard Technical Specification for CO₂ Capture and Utilization Systems. As early as 2024, the company participated in formulating two CCUS group standards: Test Methods for CO₂ Capture Absorption Solutions and Technical Specification for CO₂ Capture, Transport and Storage Processes. Through involvement in standards development, the company has not only increased its industry influence but has also contributed to promoting the standardized and regulated development of the CCUS industry.
Since 2025, TONEXUS has achieved significant progress in its CCUS business through strategic collaboration, technological innovation, and systematic advancement in patents and standards. These developments demonstrate the company’s deep technical capabilities and industry influence, set new benchmarks for the sector, and contribute to global carbon-neutrality goals.
