From October 15 to 17, the 2025 Malaysia International Green Energy Exhibition (IGEM 2025), a major global event in the green energy sector, was held in Kuala Lumpur. Led by General Manager Zheng Yong, TONEXUS presented several core technologies and solutions, including innovations in carbon capture and low-temperature flue-gas purification, attracting strong recognition and interest from overseas customers and partners.
In recent years, Southeast Asia has accelerated its green energy transition, with growing demand from various countries for industrial carbon reduction and flue-gas treatment. Achieving low-cost, high-efficiency carbon capture and flue-gas purification has become a major challenge for local industries. In response to these market needs, TONEXUS showcased a portfolio of targeted solutions, including the ultra-long-lifespan TX-1 carbon capture absorbent, the innovative TXio carbon capture process, and low-temperature SCR catalysts.
The ultra-long-lifespan TX-1 absorbent delivers 20–300 times higher resistance to oxidative degradation compared with conventional MEA absorbents, significantly reducing operation and maintenance costs while lowering waste-liquid generation. The innovative TXio process enhances overall carbon capture efficiency to over 90% while reducing energy consumption to 2.0 –2.2 GJ/tCO₂, effectively addressing the common industry challenge of “high energy consumption and low efficiency.” This makes it particularly suitable for high-emission industries in Southeast Asia. The low-temperature SCR catalyst enables efficient denitrification at 150–400°C, reducing energy demand and adapting to the low-temperature operating conditions of many industrial facilities in the region.
During the exhibition, representatives from India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and other countries visited the TONEXUS booth for in-depth discussions on CCUS deployment and low-temperature flue-gas control technologies. TONEXUS reached several preliminary cooperation agreements with overseas customers during the event. The exhibition significantly strengthened TONEXUS’s brand influence in international markets and demonstrated the competitiveness of its core technologies on the global stage, injecting strong momentum into future overseas business development.
In recent years, TONEXUS has regarded internationalization as one of its core strategies and has successfully delivered projects in markets such as India and Thailand. Looking ahead, the company will continue to drive innovation through technology and work with global partners to co-create a net-zero industrial future.
