On November 12, the 2025 World Power Battery Conference opened in Yibin, Sichuan. As a flagship global event in the power battery industry, the conference brought together leading domestic and international automakers, battery manufacturers, new energy material companies, and research institutions to jointly discuss the future of the industry. TONEXUS was invited to participate, with Chairman Zheng Guangming attending the conference and engaging in a series of activities to showcase the company’s strategic layout and technological capabilities in the sodium-ion sector—drawing significant attention from industry peers.
The conference also featured a project cooperation agreement signing ceremony. As a key investment attraction project of Yibin City, TONEXUS’s recently signed Pingshan sodium-ion project—comprising an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of sodium-ion cathode materials and 6 GWh of battery cells—was included as one of the highlighted projects during the signing ceremony, receiving strong interest from attendees. TONEXUS’s presence and project signing at the conference signal authoritative recognition and support from top-tier industry platforms for the company’s strategic development in the sodium-ion field.
Yibin is one of the regions in China with the most complete and well-supported power battery industry chain. Moving forward, by leveraging Yibin’s comprehensive industrial cluster advantages together with the company’s own technical strengths, TONEXUS will accelerate the establishment of a complete sodium-ion industry chain—from key materials to battery-cell manufacturing. The company remains committed to advancing its “Body & Dual Wings” development strategy and steadily progressing toward becoming a recognized global leader in pollution reduction and carbon mitigation.
