From September 16 to 22, TONEXUS’s independently developed TX-1 carbon capture absorbent successfully completed a 168-hour continuous online test on the carbon capture unit of a major building materials enterprise, receiving high recognition from the customer. Test data show that TX-1 demonstrated excellent capture performance under real industrial conditions. The CO₂ concentration in the treated flue gas decreased significantly, with an average capture rate exceeding 98% throughout the test and approaching 100% during certain periods, highlighting its stable and highly efficient carbon-capture capability.

In terms of key energy-consumption indicators, the absorbent also performed remarkably well. Under conventional process conditions, its net acid-gas loading capacity reached 35 L/L, while regeneration energy consumption remained steadily within the low range of 2.4–2.6 GJ/t CO₂, effectively reducing the operational cost of carbon capture. After the test, the absorbent showed no noticeable changes in color or concentration, further verifying its strong chemical stability and long service life.
