Construction of the TONEXUS Sodium-ion Battery Plant Project Progresses in an Orderly Manner, with New Progress Achieved at Multiple Key Milestones

Recently, construction of the TONEXUS sodium-ion battery plant project has continued to advance. Work has further expanded across the various construction areas on site, with new progress achieved in key works including the steel structure of Plant Building No. 1, the concrete structure of the auxiliary building, the fire water tank, and wastewater treatment facilities.

Multiple Work Areas Advance in Coordination, with Continued Progress on Key Works

At present, installation of the main steel structure of Plant Building No. 1 has been basically completed, and construction is gradually moving on to secondary steel components and the subsequent enclosure system; construction of the concrete structure of the auxiliary building is continuing; the concrete structure of the fire water tank has been completed; and the wastewater treatment station has simultaneously entered the next stage of construction.

Temporary facilities at the project site, including the rebar processing shed, material storage area, and component processing area, have also been put into use, providing support for civil construction, structural installation, and the subsequent construction of equipment foundations. In accordance with the overall project milestones, the project team is coordinating material delivery, work-sequence interfaces, on-site coordination, and resource allocation to ensure that all construction tasks are carried out in an orderly manner.

Focus on Key Milestones and Ensure Smooth Coordination of Subsequent Construction

In the next stage, the project will continue to focus on key tasks including construction of the auxiliary building of Plant Building No. 1, installation of secondary steel components and the enclosure system, construction of the wastewater treatment station, construction of equipment foundations, utility and auxiliary supporting works, road and site supporting works, and preparations for equipment delivery and installation.

During project construction, the company will continue to strengthen construction organization and whole-process management, ensure effective coordination among different disciplines and work procedures, and reinforce on-site safety management in key areas such as lifting operations, rebar processing, personnel access, and temporary electrical power use. On the basis of ensuring safety and quality, subsequent construction tasks will be advanced in an orderly manner.
