On the morning of July 2nd, the Second Session of the Third Trade Union Congress of TONEXUS Technology was held at the Hefei Operations Center. Party representatives, corporate representatives, trade union representatives, and employee representatives gathered to discuss trade union development and corporate governance strategies. The meeting reviewed and passed multiple resolutions, including an adjustment plan for the trade union organizational structure, the establishment of relevant trade union committees, and the "Performance Assessment Management Measures for Grassroots Employees in Functional Departments." Among these, the newly established Women Workers Committee, Labor Dispute Mediation Committee, and the Corporate Information Disclosure Leading Group and Supervision Group will comprehensively enhance the trade union's organizational structure, further strengthening democratic management and safeguarding employee rights.
In his speech, Chairman Zheng Guangming highly commended the crucial role of the trade union in corporate governance. He expressed hope that the union would fully leverage its bridging function, maintain close ties with employees, promptly collect and reflect their demands and suggestions, and provide a basis for the company's scientific decision-making to effectively protect their rights. He urged union representatives to actively fulfill their duties, become trusted spokespersons for employees, clear channels for employee voices, and unite collective efforts to drive the company's high-quality development.
The successful convening of this congress signifies another solid step by TONEXUS Technology in deepening corporate governance system development, strengthening the trade union's role, and implementing ESG principles. In 2024, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions awarded TONEXUS Production Plant the honorary title of "National Model Worker's Home," a recognition of the company's human-centered philosophy and trade union work.
