Recently, the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry (CAEPI) published the list of winners for the 2025 Environmental Technology Progress Award. TONEXUS and its subsidiary Fangxin Lihua jointly completed the project “Low-Temperature SCR DeNOx Technology and Equipment for Recovery Boiler Flue Gas,” which won the Second Prize in the 2025 Environmental Technology Progress Award.
“Low-Temperature SCR DeNOx Technology and Equipment for Recovery Boiler Flue Gas” is independently developed by TONEXUS. Following an expert appraisal organized by CAEPI, the technology was recognized as internationally leading, filled a domestic gap, and was included in the 2024 National Catalogue of Recommended Technologies for Pollution Prevention and Control.
This technology has successfully addressed key challenges in the paper industry’s recovery boiler flue gas—namely low temperature, high humidity, and high alkali metal content. It also delivers high DeNOx efficiency, stable operation, safe process performance, low operating energy consumption, and low inspection and maintenance costs. Welcomed by many paper enterprises, it has been implemented and successfully applied at several well-known paper companies, including Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas, Guizhou Taisheng, Yongfeng Paper, Chongqing Lee & Man, and Wuzhou Specialty Paper, helping users achieve ultra-low emissions and reduce total operating costs.
Looking ahead, TONEXUS will continue to increase R&D investment and deepen technology exploration and application practices in recovery boilers and more complex flue gas treatment scenarios, providing the industry with more efficient, more economical, and more reliable ultra-low emission solutions, and contributing more “TONEXUS strength” to safeguarding blue skies and building ecological civilization.
