The Ma'anshan R&D Center will be put into use in 2022, laying a solid foundation for the company's CCUS, energy storage, hydrogen energy direction new product research and development, existing product optimization and improvement, and quality control management. The address is located in the Fine Chemical Industry Base in Wujiang Town, Ma'anshan City and Hehe County, with a building area of 7000 square meters, including a 3000 square meter laboratory and a 4000 square meter pilot plant with an instrument and equipment investment of 30 million yuan. Equipped with SEM XRD、 More than 100 sets of main instruments for material characterization and analysis testing, including infrared spectroscopy, gas chromatography BET, as well as full-scale catalyst evaluation devices and multiple sets of modular flue gas purification pilot devices.
TONEXUS Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., as the lead Chinese unit, in collaboration with Zhejiang University, the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, and other institutions, undertook the National Key R&D Program (China-South Korea Government-to-Government Energy Technology Cooperation Project) – Demonstration Project on the Integration of Fine Particulate Matter and Other Pollution Control Technologies with Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Based on Thermal Power Plant Flue Gas.
This project commenced in October 2023 and is scheduled for completion in September 2026. On December 8, 2023, the project kick-off meeting was held in Hefei, attended and guided by leaders from the China Science and Technology Exchange Center and the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
On May 20, 2025, a National Key R&D Program Project Exchange Meeting was held in Hefei. Attendees included experts from the South Korean PNC Co., Ltd. – Young Ok Park and Gwang Deuk Kim, Professor Fang Mengxiang of Zhejiang University, Researcher Wang Fan of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, as well as TONEXUS Technology Chairman Zheng Guangming, General Manager Zheng Yong, Vice General Managers Lyu Wenbin and Wu Wei, and CCUS Division Deputy General Manager Huang Zhongbin.
