Against the backdrop of the steel industry’s comprehensive push toward ultra-low emissions and unorganized emission control, the ironmaking plant launched a dust removal system upgrade project. Centered on refined particulate management and enhanced system efficiency, the project has become a benchmark demonstration for unorganized emission control in the steel sector, providing a replicable and scalable model for green industrial transformation.
Advancing Ultra-Low Emission Compliance Through System Optimization
With increasingly stringent environmental standards, higher requirements have been placed on the stability, precision of dust collection, and overall operational efficiency of dust control systems.
Based on the ironmaking plant’s multi-process and multi point emission characteristics, TONEXUS undertook the retrofit project by comprehensively optimizing system structure, ductwork layout, and dust collection organization, establishing a more efficient, stable, and robust particulate control system capable of adapting to complex operating conditions.
Engineering Innovation Driving Cost Reduction and Emission Performance
Throughout project implementation, TONEXUS integrated site-specific conditions to deliver multiple technical highlights:
• Innovative cartridge dust collection system design, achieving high-efficiency particulate capture while reducing overall steel consumption by approximately 5 kg/m², significantly lowering project costs
• Annual particulate emission reduction of approximately 10,000 tons, substantially improving dust control performance across ironmaking operations
• Application of high-efficiency desulfurization and synergistic pollution control technologies, realizing zero wastewater discharge, maintaining SO₂ concentrations below 30 mg/m³, and achieving annual emission reductions exceeding 1,774 tons
Through a comprehensive technical pathway combining high-efficiency dust removal, coordinated emission reduction, and system-level cost optimization, the project has delivered outstanding environmental and economic benefits.
Client Recognition for Zero-Defect Delivery
As an innovative demonstration project for unorganized emission control in the steel industry, the project has not only significantly improved on-site production environments but also provided proven experience for steel enterprises advancing ultra-low emission upgrades in a systematic manner.
With scientifically engineered solutions and high-quality execution, TONEXUS demonstrated exceptional technical capability and operational excellence throughout construction. The project results were highly recognized by the client, who issued a formal letter of commendation praising TONEXUS for its performance in project management, quality control, and environmental outcomes.
